April 4, 2019 Pat took off with a a couple of co-worker, Keith and Lee, and headed out into the Southwest desert along two passages of the Arizona Trail . Maybe not the smartest thing to do in April, be we were not alone. Along our trek, we met a dozen or so thru hikers. We also viewed some spectacular vista. Added treats were a crested Saguaro, two Gila Monsters, Horned Toads and one very angry Rattle Snake. This is not a hike for the novice. Long, hot miles and questionable water.
Big THANK YOU to the trail angle for the water cache at FR 4. It was a welcome to us and other thru hikers.
